our recent stay at mara river safari lodge bali for our honeymoon was incredible. the spacious room overlooking the pool and safari area exceeded our expectations. the friendly staff, delicious food, and unique experience of dining with lions made it truly unforgettable.

The rooms we booked were very comfortable and there was a mospuito net over every bed. That really helped to keep the armies of mozzies out at night. On top of that, the hotel provided mosquito repellent, the electric type, so it was convenient to use. The Tsavos restaurant was great, good food and great view watching the lions every meal. Room was also clean and small details such as toiletries and even slippers were provided. Very convenient to visit the Bali Safari and Marine part next door. Could hear the lions roaring throughout the night even from our hotel and the kids loved it!

We had to pay for the rooms upfront when we checked in & I thought this was very strange and did not conform with normal practice when guests settle their bills only at check out!

the location and facilities are excellent. we stay 1 night only. and it very nice. i suggest to book in this hotel they give you a lot of free to the bali safari park.

my recent stay at a safari lodge in Keramas exceeded expectations. The property was fantastic, with amazing safari experiences and a clean, comfy pool. The bar had exceptional views of zebras and rhinos, and our room was spacious with special touches for our anniversary. Breakfast with giraffes was a memorable highlight. Thank you!

Bathroom was very dirty.

We were both very impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of your beautiful staff. We were also very much impressed with the high quality of all our meals. Both our dinners were a wonderful dining experience from wonderful ambience to excellent gourmet food and top quality drinks. We really enjoyed the wildlife and how well cared for, happy and healthy they all looked. Having no metal bars like in other zoos, made us feel like we were in their environment and being able to get up close and personal with many animals was a thrill to us both. We had an excellent stay and I look very much forward to staying at your world class tourist park again.

The water being sprayed into the fan. There has been some cases of legionnaire's disease in Bali and watching the animal show, it made me feel a bit worried if the water was safe and wouldnt make us sick.

The stunning surrounds, the lovely staff who all seemed to be well spoken in Englsih, and very helpful. The rooms were just wonderful with the lovely view of the animals from the balcony. The swimming pool was very appealing with the friendly deer in the garden. The fact that one could just press 0 on the phone and have a golf cart come to the room to take the guests to the pool or to the lobby was fantastic as I was travelling with a very 'walk inpaired' companion. Over all it was the highlight of my trip to Bali. The Tsavo restaurant managed to turn out delicious meals even though there were so many diners. And to end it all, eating while watching the interplay between the lions was just uncomparable.

The hotel's location within the safari park allows for convenient breaks during the safari visit. the staff were friendly and the rooms were clean, with nice decor and a balcony overlooking the animals. One guest mentioned the great food options, especially at the lion restaurant with a fantastic view.

The AC did not work well, leaving the room uncomfortably warm at night.

It was really an unforgettable experience to be able to see the animals just outside your balcony. Hotel provides carrots for you to feed the zebras, rhinocerous and antelopes who visited your room in the morning and afternoon. We had a very close encounter with the antelopes while walking towards the swimming pool though we kept a safe distance as no matter what they are wild animals so their behaviour is unpredictable. But since we carried with us the carrots, we fed them in almost quite a close distance. Very interesting and unforgettable experience.

For those who like shopping, this place is out of town. There are shuttle buses to certain areas but you need to book a day in advance.

Strolling through the park watching the animals. Having meals watching the lions in the restaurant. The staff are very friendly and will do anything they can to make your stay an enjoyable one. The spa treatments were divine. A truly enjoyable stay mingling with the animals it's a definite must for anybody visiting Bali

It's not the most luxurious but it doesn't claim to be, it's a unique experience not to be missed.

We had an incredible experience staying at Mara Safari River Lodge. One morning, we woke up to the breathtaking sight of zebras and antelope grazing just outside our balcony. It was truly unforgettable to be able to throw carrots to these beautiful animals and witness them up close. The lodge is definitely worth a visit to immerse yourself in the park and enjoy the amazing view of the wildlife.

Very well set out and comfortable. Breakfast watching the lions so close was amazing.

We were amazed at being able to watch lions just a few feet away through the huge window while eating in the restaurant. The photo in the brochure does not exagerate - we were sitting at the same table! Would highly recommend spending jut 1 night at the hotel as you then get 2 whole days in the safari park. The cost of the hotel was only $20 more than admittance to the park so excellent value. The food in the restaurant was 5 star.

Loved everything, especially being able to watch rhinos and elephants walking up to our patio.

We had an amazing stay at this lodge for 3 nights. the Twiga room on the top floor offered breathtaking views of the savanna. the comfortable beds and clean rooms made our stay even better. the reception staff were helpful, providing us with a well-explained program. the highlight was enjoying delicious food at Tsavo restaurant while observing the lions. We also loved the free entertainment, including fire dancing and Indonesian performances.

Our room was fantastic with a lovely view and the restaurant with its large windows to the lion enclosure was the highlight of our stay
